GENERAL BACKGROUND
Drew joined Logica Law in 2026 and is a corporate and commercial lawyer focusing on corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and commercial transactions. Drew advises clients on the formation, capitalization, growth and governance of their businesses and has experience drafting a range of corporate and commercial agreements, including share and asset purchase agreements, shareholders agreements and partnership agreements.
Drew articled and practiced in the corporate finance and securities group at Lawson Lundell LLP from 2012-2015, before moving into the investment industry. Alongside his legal practice, Drew manages an alternative investment business, Blue Sand Securities, that raises institutional capital for hedge funds and private equity/credit managers.
EDUCATION
Drew obtained his Juris Doctorate of Laws (J.D.) from the University of Victoria in 2012 where he was a recipient of the University of Victoria President’s Scholarship as well as the Susanne and Gerry Roufs Scholarship and the Professor Jim Ellis Memorial Prize in International Law.
PERSONAL
Outside of work Drew enjoys playing hockey and golf and spending time with his son. Drew is a coach with the North Vancouver Football Club and Mt. Seymour Little League, and a member of the Capilano Golf & Country Club.
